NO PASS
I can’t say that I’ve ever had a batch of Do Si Dos that I would say is truly amazing. Honestly, after I was introduced to this strain in Vegas, I have not been eager to give it another spin. However, since good weed is almost impossible to find in Arizona, sometimes you have to gamble, which is what I did on the Do Si Dos that Grow Sciences whipped up. Sooo, let’s talk about it.
Presentation

Do Si Dos was created by taking a specific Girls Scout pheno and crossing it with Face Off OG. Not only can it be a delicacy but major eye candy, as well, if grown to its full potential. Like the majority of what Grow Sciences pumps out of their “candy land”, these Do Si Dos really had some phenomenal bag appeal. Vibrant, frosty and colorful are some of the words that immediately came to mind after gazing at this strain for a solid five minutes. There was no way I could score this strain any less than a 5 out 5 in the presentation category.
Smell
As a strain with such flavorful parents, I could not imagine these Do Sis being any less than mouth-watering. However, that was not the case when I opened the jar. I’m not saying the smells weren’t appealing; they were just very dull. I decided to give it five minutes in the jar with the lid off (burping) with hopes of bringing some life back into those terps. After five minutes, I somewhat got what I was looking for. Along with those kushy terps, I noticed very faint hints of cookies and cream. As I started breaking the buds down, the smell of cookies went from a day old to fresh baked in the blink of an eye. With all that being said, I give the smell a 4 out of 5.
Flavor
Flavor wise, there were definite hints of sweet cream; but like the smell, those hints were very dull. The smoke was smooth, however, so I was able to take some pretty large rips. I was hoping by the end of the blunt, the flavor would have given me a little more, but by the time I was done, I could still vaguely taste the terps on my tongue but, my hopes were let down as far as the flavor goes. For that, I give it a 3.5 out of 5 in flavor.

High
I know after reading all of that, you may think this strain isn’t worth your time. Well, let me tell you, what this strain lacked in flavor and smell was made up for in the high. At the midway point, I was starting to think the high wasn’t going to be what I wanted, but by the time I finished, I was completely obliterated. My mind was in another universe while my body stayed put on Earth. Come to think of it, the high was like a plane taking off; it starts off slow, but by the time it hits the end of the runway, it is at full speed. The high for sure gets a 5 out of 5.
Where does that leave me as far as giving this strain the Gas Pass? Truthfully, I can not give this one the stamp. That doesn’t mean I won’t try it again sometime down the road. I know that we as consumers would like every jar and batch to be equally as good. However, this is a plant; no matter what, not every bud on that plant is going to look, taste, or smoke the same. This is why I love trying different phenos of the same strain. You can’t truly understand unless you’ve had this experience. As far as these Do Sis, they weren’t a win for us, but that doesn’t mean they won’t be for you.
